Popular radio star Sister George, beloved character of radio soap opera Applehurst, is about to be killed off to boost ratings, and her creator, June Buckbridge will not go quietly! At a time when theatre censorship was still in place, Frank Marcus’s comedy dared to hint at a same sex relationship! To mark the 60th anniversary of its debut, Headgate Theatre Productions will present the play as part of LGBTQ month. This amateur production is by permission of Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French Ltd. The play contains some views that were acceptable at the time of writing.

Our club offers coaching to all who wish to enjoy the sport, including children and adults of all ages, abilities and needs. We have dedicated and integrated sessions for those members with special needs, members who bounce at a recreational level for fun and exercise, and for those who train at an advanced level to compete at regional, national and international competitions.
